The hydro system is incorporated into the Kobi humidor using a false floor in the middle to put the hydro tray. This is a little annoying because I'm going to have this humidor filled with cigars which will essentially cover up tray access. However, I like the discreetness of hiding the tray and it's not hard to pour a little PG solution through the slates when needed. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. Pro Tip: Case Elegance says you should only have to refill the Hydro Tray every four weeks.

The hydro system is compatible with Boveda humidity packs and other humidity control packets. This is ideal for beginners who don’t want to over-complicate cigar storage but it’s also trusted by seasoned collectors who want hands-off accuracy. Let's face it, Boveda packs are just easier to use and there's not really an argument to be had about that.
